ROBERT A. KOHN concentrates his practice in all aspects of school law including intergovernmental contracts, real estate, and school district consolidation and dissolution, and serves as legal counsel to school districts seeking re-evaluations of their tax assessments.  He establishes self-insurance plans for school districts and colleges and has served as general counsel for self-insurance cooperatives.  Mr. Kohn is a frequent lecturer on school law to various groups, including the Illinois Council of School Attorneys and the Illinois Association of School Business Officials.  He is a former member of the Board of Education of Highland Park School District 108.  Mr. Kohn graduated cum laude from Washington University, where he also received his law degree in 1979 and served as senior editor of the Law Quarterly.
